In addition to our hardware and software offerings, the Research Computing Data Core provides advanced support to researchers. This goes beyond basic support, and often includes development of new codes, scripts, analyses, workflows, and visualizations from a computational scientist staff that has significant experience performing computational research. Our online User Guide offers extensive tutorials for RCDC users and information about running jobs, transferring files, and making the most of the RCDC compute environment. RCDC technical support staff are available five days a week to answer questions over the phone, via e-mail, and in person. Additionally, our extensive Workshop and Training series offer members of the University of Houston community the opportunity to learn HPC-related skills to take full advantage of RCDC resources.
