A Message from the President Welcome the Black Student Union (BSU), I am delighted that you took the time to visit, or simply view this page. BSU is an organization comprised of students from the University of Houston that are committed to ensure that the educational, political, and social needs of the African Diaspora population are met on campus. BSU is also committed to dispelling myths about persons with African descent and enlightening the campus and surrounding areas about the diversity of this population. BSU also assists in facilitating a comfortable, emotionally healthy educational environment which allows students to excel during their matriculation at the University of Houston and beyond.
