The purpose of this pre-dental and pre-dental hygiene society is to provide a source of information to educate and prepare students in the field of dentistry and various aspects of the dental profession. Membership is open to all UH students interested in the field of dentistry. The society invites key members of the admissions board from each of the three dental schools in Texas to speak to our group. In addition, the society organizes tours of the dental schools and has guest speakers, such as dentists, specialists, and dental students speak at our meetings. The organization is also involved in community service as well as social events such as intramural sports and banquets.
