Academic Warning, Probation & Suspension Information

Academic Difficulty to Academic Success Program

The College of Architecture and Design's Student Services Office has an Academic Growth Plan to educate, support, and empower students who find themselves on Academic Warning, Academic Probation, or Academic Suspension. It is the goal of the Student Services Office to provide information, tools, and resources to these students to help them identify areas of improvement and strategies for success both academically and personally.

Academic Warning

CoAD majors on Academic Warning are required to schedule an academic advising appointment with their assigned advisor.

A hold is placed on the student's account when the student is on Academic Warning.  This hold prevents registration in the upcoming semester.  This hold is lifted only once the student completes all Academic Warning requirements, which includes meeting with her/his academic advisor.
