designed to detect, prevent and mitigate identity theft in
compliance with the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Red Flags Rule. These changes were made by the Office of Risk Management. |

SAM 02.D.06 -
Family and Medical Leave |
Content of
SAM 02.D.06 was reorganized and updated to reflect legislative changes including, but not
limited to, the addition of Family Military Leave provisions. These changes were proposed by the chief human resources officers. |

SAM 03.A.05 - Contract Administration
|
Proposed changes to SAM 03.A.05 include reassigning the
policy to Legal Affairs and
updating wording throughout to
align it with current
legislation and Board policy.
Contracting authority was also updated to
reflect the current practices of the Chancellor's Delegation of Signature Authority.
The requirement to designate and
hold an employee
personally liable was removed from Section 3.1.b and state agency reporting
and definitions of
consulting and professional
services were expanded. These changes were proposed by the Office of Legal Counsel and the Office of Finance. |
