This MAPP is being submitted for Interim Approval based on pending CPRIT grant approval.
Applied revised MAPP template and added new Revision Log. MAPP was retitled from "Smoke Free Environment" to current title. Rewrote the policy to emphasize activities for creating a tobacco-free campus, including information on tobacco use areas, the Tobacco Task Force, and Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). Changed the responsible
party from the Assistant Vice President for Public Safety and Security to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Office of Health and Wellness. Included applicable reference documents in Section VIII.
Note: This MAPP will be revised for Quarter 1, FY 2013 to remove Interim designation. |

Interim release based on SAO Audit related to the National Research University Fund. Added Section II.D on reallocation of expenses and responsibilities based on non-collection of funds. Added Section II.E on time and effort reporting compliance and monitoring; noncompliance may result in repayment of funds and the inability to receive funding for future sponsored projects.
