During a recent review of System policy by the UH System senior management, it was determined that SAM 01.C.04 is unnecessary as a system-wide policy and that relevant information contained in SAM 01.C.04 would be more appropriately located within student, faculty, and staff handbooks or similar documents at the university level.

SAM 03.A.08 – Approval of Entertainment and Travel Expenses

During a recent review of System policy by the component university financial reporting and budget staff and the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the relevant content of SAM 03.A.08 was placed in SAM 03.A.02, Entertainment Expenditures, and SAM 03.A.03, Business Travel. SAM 03.A.08 was considered to be out of date and obsolete.
