SAMs Approved in Quarter 1, Fiscal Year 2009

The following System Administrative Memoranda were approved by the Chancellor as official system policy on October 14, 2008:
SAM Number and Name Summary of Changes
SAM 02.A.11 - Staff Performance Appraisals SAM 02.A.11 was submitted for its scheduled review. Section 2.4 was added to document system mandated training as a minimum job expectation. The responsible party was also updated. These changes were proposed by the chief human resources officers.
SAM 02.A.26 - Employee Development and Training Documentation in Section 2.4 of SAM 02.A.26 was changed to open training workshops to all employees based on their personal or professional development. Section 2.6 was updated to include annual mandatory training as a job expectation. The responsible party was updated, and the review period changed to every five years before June 1. These changes were proposed by the chief human resources officers.
