MAPPs Approved In Quarter 2, Fiscal Year 2012

The following Manuals of Administrative Policies and Procedures were approved by the President as official university policy for Quarter 2, Fiscal Year 2012 (December 2011 and January/February, 2012):

MAPP 02.07.02 - Reasonable Workplace Accommodations for Employees With Disabilities 02/21/2012 Added the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 to Section I. Changed the e-mail address of the ADA Coordinator in Section III.A. Updated the definition of Person with a Disability and Reasonable Accommodation per 29 CFR 1630 (Appendix). Updated the Major Life Activity definition per 42 USC 12102. In Section V.A, the supervisors must notify the ADA Coordination when receiving a request for accommodation from an employee. Updated Section V.B.1 per 29 CFR 1630 (Appendix). Corrected reference to Section 02.07.01. In Section V.E.1, added the steps for the interactive review between ADA Coordinator and employee's supervisor per 29 CFR 1630 (Appendix).
MAPP 02.07.02 was reviewed in Quarter 4, FY 2011.
MAPP 04.02.01A - Travel Paid from State-Appropriated Funds 02/07/2012 Applied revised MAPP template and added new revision log. All changes from Interim publication (Revision 8) included, plus addition of Lodging in Section III and additional documentation for Official Mileage. Added Export Controls documentation to Section VI. Added Fly America Act information to Section VII.C. Deleted references to $36/day for meals and $85/day for lodging in Texas, since there are no set limits for per diem effective September 1, 2011; all per diem amounts are based on the GSA web site. Updated web site locations throughout document.
MAPP 04.02.01A was reviewed in Quarter 2, FY 2011.
MAPP 04.02.01B - Travel Paid from Local Funds 02/07/2012 Applied revised MAPP template and added new revision log. Added Lodging to Section III. Added information on advanced approval of foreign travel. Added Export Controls documentation to Section V. Added Fly America Act information to Section VI.C. Rewrote Sections VII and VIII to reflect current operating practices. Added university guest to the list of travelers requiring a Travel Request. University guests (as well as prospective employees and students) can be reimbursed for nonovernight meals. Corrected web site addresses. Removed Index terms.
MAPP 04.02.01B was reviewed in Quarter 2, FY 2011.
