USPS SUSPENDS MAIL TO CANADA DUE TO CANADA
Due to the expectation by Canada Post officials that the strike
by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers will last until at least
sometime next week, the U.S. Postal Service suspended accepting
mail destined to Canada on Saturday.

WHEELER RECONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC IMPACTS
METRO work along Wheeler Avenue is in full swing and progressing on
schedule. METRO anticipates the current work will be complete and
the new roadway opened by early August.
Emergency Management Table Top Exercise
The Department of Public Emergency Management Bureau and the
University of Houston Emergency Management Steering Committee
will be conducting a Table Top Exercise for the University of
Houston campus on June 9, 2011.
CAMPUS RECREATION (CRWC) CLIMBING WALL
As part of the S-STAR initiative and centralization of
facilities, a preliminary review of Campus Recreation and its
current facility condition was completed in mid-May.
