Serving up Tradition: A Call for Volunteers

For more than a decade, this fun and festive event has been a success thanks to the dedicated service of UH faculty and staff. This long-standing tradition provides students with a welcome break from preparing for finals while  we celebrate and support the University’s most valued customers̶- the students!

The two-hour evening event will take place Monday, Dec. 2, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., in the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion in the M.D. Anderson Library. More than 1,500 students are expected to come for a plate of pancakes, turkey sausage and more.

A wide range of volunteer opportunities need to be filled, such as greeting students, assisting with volunteer check-in, hosting beverage stations, distributing meal tickets to students and  keeping the area tidy during the event.

Signing up is quick and easy to do. Click here to review a descriptive list of the volunteer opportunities that are available before choosing one.
