New Student Housing Website Provides Better User Experience

revamp housing website

Houston, March 2, 2016 — Student Housing and Residential Life has launched a redesigned website that is easier to navigate and provides an improved user experience.

Visitors to will notice it loads more quickly, is more professional looking and has a fresh new look with more visual appeal.

Content has been thoroughly updated to ensure accuracy and relevancy. The redesign makes it easier for users to find pertinent information. It also is more responsive to smart phones and tablets.

The new site is the work of a dedicated task force that spent months tackling the project and coming up with unique ideas and solutions. The end result? A rejuvenated site that better meets the needs of the UH community. The project, however, is not finished. In the coming months, even more enhancements will be added to the website.

"We wanted to provide a website that is crisp and fresh and very professional," said Maria Honey, Student Housing and Residential Life assistant director of marketing and communications. "This improved site has accomplished that, but we will continually be adding to it and making it even better."
