Peach Bowl Celebration May Impact Traffic

Houston, Jan. 25, 2016 — The UH community may experience heavier than usual traffic near TDECU Stadium on Monday, Feb. 1, as Cougar fans from around the city join Chancellor and UH President Dr. Renu Khator and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner in celebrating the University's recent Peach Bowl win.

Scheduled to take place from 6 until 8 p.m., the event will be held at Legends Plaza, located near gate 1 of the stadium. The entire football team, including head coach Tom Herman, are set to attend and anyone wearing Cougar red will be granted free admission.

More information on specific parking and traffic impacts will soon be added to UH Parking and Transportation's traffic alert page.
