National Night Out at UH Moving to New Location This Year

Houston, Sept. 30, 2015 — National Night Out activities will be taking place at the University of Houston campus again this year.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This year, however, the event will move indoors to the game room in the Student Center South.

Bowling, music, food and beverages will be provided for free. UHPD Sgt. Dina Padovan has organized this spectacular event for the campus community.

"This is a chance to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in our University programs, and strengthen the campus community spirit and partnerships," Padovan said. "It is also a chance to play a friendly game of bowling with your friends, police officers, security officers, the fire marshals or other members of DPS."
