New Deputy Fire Marshal Joins UH Team

Houston, Feb. 6, 2018 —Marvin Alexander has joined the University of Houston Fire Marshal's Office as a deputy fire marshal.

Alexander's first day was Dec. 11. He has more than 17 years of firefighting experience with the Houston Fire Department. He also has served in the U.S. Navy.

Alexander received his bachelor's degree from UH, where he also played on the football team. He has a master's degree from Texas Southern University and is currently working on completing his dissertation for a doctorate.
