Classic Rock Group Kansas to Perform at UH This Fall

Houston, April 29, 2016 — Classic rock band Kansas, known for their smash hits "Dust in the Wind" and "Carry on My Wayward Son," will be performing at the University of Houston later this year.

The concert is set for Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. in Cullen Performance Hall. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at or, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the UH Sports and Entertainment office on the south side of TDECU Stadium.

Kansas has fascinated fans all over the world for more than 40 years. Their captivating sounds have found a new audience through video games like Guitar Hero and TV shows including "South Park" and "Supernatural." From the lush organ arrangement and agile violin runs of "Point of Know Return" to the stark lament of the million-selling gold single "Dust in the Wind" and "Carry On My Wayward Son," Kansas is classic rock royalty.
