High School Graduations to Affect Stadium Garage Parking

Houston, May 29, 2014 - High school graduation ceremonies scheduled for Saturday, June 7, at Hofheinz Pavilion will impact parking and traffic around the Stadium Garage.

Parking permit holders should expect some traffic delays, especially on Cullen and Elgin.

Visitors attending the three graduation ceremonies for the Goose Creek Consolidated ISD schools will be occupying both the visitor and student levels of the Stadium Garage. Additionally, faculty and staff will only be able to enter and exit the garage via Scott Street.

The graduation schedule for that day is as follows (end times are approximate):

  • 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Ross Sterling High School
  • 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Robert E. Lee High School
  • 7 to 9 p.m. - Goose Creek Memorial High School
