Houston, April 21, 2017 — University of Houston Dining Services has added new Lifestyle Foods products to its grab 'n go coolers in the Cougar Xpress Markets.

UH Dining has noticed a growing demand for healthier options that are conveniently accessible for students on the go. The new Lifestyle Foods choices in the grab 'n go coolers are the perfect solution for offering students healthy snacks and meals that are ready to grab between classes.

Lifestyle Foods believes eating healthy should not be something consumers have to sacrifice due to busy schedules. The company's philosophy is called "health-venience." By offering healthy options that are ready-to-eat, Lifestyle Foods promises to "bridge the gap between convenience and healthy eating."

The selection is fresh, not frozen, and includes ready-to-eat entrees, salads, snacks and sides. Many options are vegetarian, such as the Chipotle Black Bean Burger and the Hollywood Snack featuring honey wheat pretzels with sliced apples, grapes and white cheddar cheese. The products are packaged in resealable containers that can be reused, making them a green choice.

"Lifestyle Foods offers high quality products with a variety of options to suit anyone's taste," said Taushah Crawford, Cougar Xpress Market manager. "I like to grab the Malibu Turkey Avocado sandwich and the Asian Fusion salad when I am on the go."

Hours for Cougar Xpress Markets throughout campus are available online.
