Comedian Hasan Minhaj to Perform two Shows This Fall

Houston, July 23, 2018 — Comedian, actor, television host and writer Hasan Minhaj will perform this fall at the University of Houston's Cullen Performance Hall.

Two shows are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Cullen Performance Hall box office.

This fall, Minhaj will become the first Indian-American to host his own weekly comedy show for Netflix. The series will explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity.

In 2014, he joined "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." He remained in the correspondent role on the show after Stewart departed and Trevor Noah took over. This summer, he can be seen in the film "The Spy Who Dumped Me." He has also appeared in several other films.
