Flood Readiness Focus of First Week of National Preparedness Month

Houston, August 31, 2015 — As part of National Preparedness Month in September, the University of Houston Office of Emergency Management is encouraging the campus community to be prepared for floods.

The Houston area experiences a large number of floods annually. Being prepared ensures that you and your family are safe when flood waters are approaching. Spend a few minutes learning more about flood preparedness.
