Call Goes Out for Volunteers to Help at Finals Mania

Drexler's Serving Barbecue

Houston, Nov. 10, 2017 - Finals Mania, a tradition that provides students a welcome break from preparing for final exams, needs faculty and staff volunteers to make it a success.

The two-hour evening event will take place Monday, Dec. 4, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., in the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion in the M.D. Anderson Library. More than 1,500 students are expected to come for a plate of pancakes and sausage, as well as coffee and orange juice.

A wide range of volunteer opportunities need to be filled, such as greeting students, assisting with volunteer check-in, manning beverage stations, distributing meal tickets to students and clearing trash.

Signing up is quick and easy to do. Those who would like to volunteer should click here to review a list of the roles that are available before choosing one.
