Event May Impact Traffic Near University Center Tuesday Evening

Houston, Sept. 22, 2014 — University of Houston students, faculty and staff should be aware that an event at Cullen Performance Hall and Hilton College may impact campus traffic temporarily this Tuesday, Sept 23.

Texas College Night is being held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. More than 700 students from the Houston Independent School District will be taking part and will be arriving between 5 and 6 p.m. on more than 35 buses. The buses will be dropping off students in front of the University Center and will then wait at ERP until the event is over. They will return to pick up students in front of the Hilton College starting around 8:15 p.m.

The UH community should be prepared for a possible impact on traffic on University Boulevard/Entrance 1 when the buses are arriving and afterward when they return to pick up students.
