Next Coffee with a Cop Event Scheduled at the University Center

UH Dining Introduces Late Night Food Truck Option for Students

Houston, Nov. 6, 2014 — The Coffee with a Cop events that have taken place in the lobby of the University Center have been a great opportunity for different people to talk to officers with the University of Houston Police Department.

Besides enjoying a free cup of coffee and donuts, all types of questions and conversations have popped up during these sessions.

Police Sgt. Dina Padovan said the most popular topic discussed has been regarding the Metro light rail line that will be opening soon. People have also inquired about the difference in the Department of Public Safety uniforms and in the security escort program.

The next Coffee With A Cop event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 9 to 10 a.m.
