Boiler Testing May Cause Loud Noises on Campus

Houston, Oct. 22, 2014 — On Wednesday, Oct. 22, and Thursday, Oct. 23, Victory Energy will be running and testing the new boiler located in the Central Plant.

This could cause a loud release of excess steam from the Central Plant between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. that may be heard and seen across campus. This will not affect steam production to the campus and there is no need for alarm or concern.

Please contact Senior Project Manager Kelly Buehler if you have any questions related to this project at kbuehler@central.uh.edu or by phone at 713-743-9637.
