Town Hall Gatherings to Reveal What's in Store for Dining, Housing

2016 townhall

Houston, Jan. 22, 2016 — The UH community is invited to two upcoming town hall events that will outline what the upcoming year has in store for food service and student housing at the University of Houston.

The gatherings will take place Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m., and Wednesday, Feb. 3, at noon. Both will take place in the private dining area in the Fresh Food Company in Moody Towers. Students, faculty, staff and visitors are welcome to attend.

Representatives from UH Dining Services and Student Housing & Residential Life will be on hand to review the highlights of the past 12 months and explain what's on tap for the upcoming academic year. Changes to the meal plan structure and pricing will be explained. In addition, the proposed housing rates will be shared. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Entry into the dining hall requires purchasing a meal, but the first 20 people who attend the town halls will have the meal fee waived, courtesy of Auxiliary Services.
