Staff updates announced in Facilities Management
We continue to make strides toward enhanced customer service and
stewardship of our physical resources. Below is an update of
some key staff changes in support of these goals:
Megan Connell is FM’s newest Senior Project Manager
in Minor and Planned Projects effective August. Megan supports
academic, auxiliary and key Arts projects for the University.
Ray Mosley will be the new Zone Manager for north
zone effective September 1 and will also continue to provide
leadership for our Custodial Management Program and related
contracts. Ray has been serving as quality improvement inspector
of custodial services and in his new role as Zone Manager, he
will partner with Joe Morris, South Zone Manager, to supervise
and direct north zone custodial and maintenance teams.
Jacquie Vargas is the new Communications Manager
effective June 1. Jacquie is launching communications
initiatives to help bring greater campus and community attention
and focus to our department’s many outstanding programs,
services, and people. Jacquie will continue to work on special
projects for the Executive Director.
Ted Hair is the new Facilities Management Director of
Administration effective July 1. Facilities Administration
represents a new administrative focus within Facilities
Management and is comprised of the programmatic, service and
data analysis functions. This includes such key components as
the Building Coordinator Program (Cynthia Ramos, Program
Manager), Facilities Service Center (Daniel Cleaves,
Supervisor), Facilities Service Coordination (Brittanee Adams,
FS Coordinator), and the FAMIS Program Implementation as well as
management of business planning and Operational Contracting. Ted
is also the key partner for auxiliaries for centralization and
process planning and support of our own Business Services team
on recruiting, career fairs and related HR projects.
