New students can save time and skip the long lines this summer by taking advantage of the Cougar Card’s online photo submission option. Before visiting the campus for their New Student Conference, students have the option to upload their own photo online and have their Cougar Card ready for pick up when they arrive.

Last year, students waited in long lines during the conferences to get their picture taken for their Cougar Card ID. They could then pick up their ID the following day. This summer, students registered for conferences will now receive instructions for the online option ahead of time to encourage the convenient service and reduce wait times during the conference.

Students will need to submit a photo through AccessUH at least five days prior to their conference date. If the photo is approved, the student will receive a confirmation email from the Cougar Card Office and the ID will be ready for pickup at their scheduled conference. Cougar Card staff will be available during the conferences to hand out the approved Cougar Cards.

To submit a photo, students must:

• Log on to using myUH credentials
• Select the Cougar Card icon
• Review the photo requirements
• Upload a photo
• Receive an approval email confirmation from the Cougar Card office
• Pick up their Cougar Card at the conference.

If students are unable to pick up their Cougar Card ID the day of their conference, they may pick it up the following day or later at the Cougar Card Office in the Welcome Center Parking Garage, Suite 101 during regular business hours. For more information on the Cougar Card, visit
