Biodegradeable Office Supplies Offered at UH Bookstore
The
University of Houston continues its
green initiatives as biodegradable
office supplies are available at the
UH bookstore.
Barnes & Noble College Booksellers
say that they are, “committed to
implementing sustainable practices
into every facet of our company
while finding new and innovative
ways to reduce our environmental
impact.”
One way that they accomplish this
goal is by offering various “green”
products which support their
sustainability practices.
Some of these products include CFL
light bulbs, recycled notebooks, and
green filler paper, pencils, pens,
portfolios, composition books and
file folders.
Selling reused textbooks and
offering other green supplies are
some of the ways that the UH
Bookstore is supporting and
contributing to sustainability
initiatives at the University of
Houston.
