Summer Parking Lot Maintenance

Each summer the parking lots around campus undergo their annual lot maintenance. The Department of Public Safety wants to make sure all parking areas on campus are up to snuff for the start of the Fall semester. Summer maintenance projects for FY09 range from surface repairs to stripping on various surrounding campus lots. This summer there will be restriping in lots; 11A, 13A, 15H, 19B and 19C. This restriping will help define the spaces and eliminate confusion in the lots when things get busy. There will also be some curb repairs during the summer at Entrance 1, 14, 16 and 18. The improvements to the curb will help beautify the entrance of the campus. Last but not least will be asphalt work on lots 8A, 9C, 12A, 13A, 15D east, 15D west, 16B, 18A and 20A. Keeping the lots as even and smooth as possible for our daily commuters to campus is our goal. Hopefully this information on the lot maintenance in and around campus will help members of the campus community plan as they park this summer.
