EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: PAUL LOZANO
Paul Lozano has been at the
University of Houston since 1987.
Believe it or not, he actually began
with the UH Police Department
working as a Parking Enforcement
Officer. Paul spent 5 years doing
the difficult but necessary job of
issuing citations to violators in
parking lots on campus. After
spending many a day working in the
lots as a Parking Enforcement
Assistant he had an opportunity to
advance to the position of Lot
Maintenance Assistant. As many of us
already know, Paul’s positive nature
was something special that the
University of Houston could benefit
greatly from. Paul took a brief
absence from the University of
Houston but soon realized that his
place was here with the campus
community; he returned in April 2000
as the Manager for the UHDPS Parking
Enforcement Division.
We all know Paul as a happy, easy
going and friendly coworker. What
you may not know is that he is an optimistic
driving force behind Parking
Enforcement, Lot Maintenance, Field
Shuttle Service/Charters and Parking
Special Events. He works hard to
ensure that any parking or shuttle changes on the campus
will only benefit the students,
faculty, staff and visitors.
