There will be no delivery or pickup of mail on the University of Houston campus during the winter break, which begins Friday, Dec. 23.
The last suggested shipping date for packages delivered to campus was Dec. 3. Due to high volumes for all shipping companies, this date provides a greater chance that the package will arrive before the winter break begins.
Mail delivery will resume Monday, Jan. 2, with full service starting back up on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Departments and colleges that need to pick up mail during the winter break should refer to the schedule below. All mail can be retrieved from the UH Postal Services front lobby located in the General Services Building. Parking lot 17A in front of the building can be utilized for parking.
Important tip: Everyone should keep their last day on campus in mind when expecting a package and allow ample delivery time. Anyone with questions or concerns can contact UH Postal Services at 713-743-5829.
