A University of Houston student who took the time to fill out a recent dining survey is now the happy owner of a brand new iPad Air 2.
Micheal Janho won the prize after his name was drawn from a list of everyone who completed the survey, which was emailed to a random sampling of students, faculty and staff in October.
Two other people received prizes in the drawing. Holly Prevost, a staff member, received a $100 Visa gift card, and doctoral student Pawanjit Kaur won a $50 Visa gift card.
Dr. Emily Messa, associate vice chancellor/associate vice president for Administration, presented each of the winners with their prizes.
The survey was conducted as part of an overall assessment of dining preferences on the UH campus by Porter Khouw Consulting, a firm hired by the University.
The results of the survey are being analyzed and will be used to determine ways to improve the dining experience for the campus community.
