The University of Houston community came out to Lynn Eusan Park on Wednesday, Dec. 3, to participate in Sustainability Fest.
The annual event, which is organized by the UH Office of Sustainability, provided practical information about how to live more sustainably, while also highlighting sustainability initiatives across campus and the city.
Many vendors from around the city had a presence at the festival. There was also a weather balloon launch, yoga demonstrations, and a reading of the three winning entries in the sustainability poetry contest.
In addition, tote bags and bookmarks were available for the first 500 attendees who presented their Cougar Card at the check-in booth.
