STARBUCKS MANAGER MALKIA DIXON AWARDED FOR EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP

Dixon, location manager for
Starbucks with UH Dining Services,
received a leadership award from the
Starbucks regional office for being
an exceptional mentor to Danielle
Hartman, the Starbucks supervisor at
University of Houston – Downtown,
and for increasing store sales more
than 10 percent at both of the
Starbucks locations on campus.
“Without the dedication, hard work,
and accelerated vision of my team of
baristas, I would not have been able
to achieve the level of success that
has enabled me to catapult both of
my Starbucks locations into the top
25 percent of U.S. licensed stores,”
said Dixon. “I will always
appreciate the graciousness with
which they have accepted our new
found fame within the Starbucks
realm and how diligently the team
works to maintain our status as a
high level operation.”
Dixon has been the Starbucks
location manager with UH Dining
Services since 2008.
