NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - R.
SPENCER MOORE
 The
Department of Plant Operations
announces that R. Spencer Moore has
been hired as our executive director
of Facilities Planning and
Construction. Moore previously
served as project director at M.D.
Anderson Cancer Center and managed
the planning, design and
construction of their large capital
projects including the T. Boone
Pickens Administrative Office Tower
(750,000 sf, $170m) and the Cancer
Prevention Building (400,000 sf,
$110m). Prior to that, he managed
projects at the HP campus for five
years. Spencer holds an MBA from the
University of Houston’s Bauer
Business School and both a BS and MS
in construction management from
Texas A&M.
