UHDPS Offers RAD
Calling all females interested in
participating in a very rewarding
and educational class that the
police department offers called Rape
Aggression Defense (R.A.D.). The
Rape Aggression Defense System is a
program of realistic self-defense
tactics and techniques for women.
The R.A.D. System is a
comprehensive, women-only course
that begins with awareness,
prevention, risk reduction and risk
avoidance while progressing on to
the basics of hands-on defense
training. R.A.D. is not a martial
arts program, but taught by
nationally certified R.A.D.
instructors. In case you would like
more information, visit the website
at
http://www.rad-systems.com.
Our very own UHDPS R.A.D.
instructors will be offering a class
the week of April 18th -22nd, 2011,
between 3p.m. – 6p.m. Not only will
you meet new friends, but you will
also learn basic hands-on defense
tactics. This is a great learning
experience, and you are guaranteed
to have fun.
If you are interested in attending
the April R.A.D. class, contact
Yolanda Edmund at 713-743-3333 or
