Pies for Babies

The Department of Public Safety (UHDPS) decided to raise the March for Babies to a whole new level. While many UH faculty, staff and students are making sweets to sell to the campus community, the UHDPS is making pies aimed for their bosses.

The employees are making contributions for their favorite (or not so favorite) Command Staff member. The three Command Staff members who have the most money donated in their name by the end of the campaign will be the recipients of a pie in the face. Pie throwers will be selected by their peers. Individuals from all over campus can make donations to the Pies for Babies campaign.

The pie throwing event will take place on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 3 p.m. on the east side of the UHDPS building. For contributions and additional information, please contact Ginger Walker at gkwalker@uh.edu or 713-743-0583.

The UHDPS will also be selling candy bars and blue jeans for babies to help support the March for Babies campaign.
