Necessary Changes For A Confusing Web Site Structure: MAPP and SAM Web Sites Are Changing Addresses on April 15th

Over the years of posting updates for SAMs and MAPPs, several web sites were developed to allow others outside of the UH System to view procedures. As a result, approved SAMs and MAPPs need to be posted to several different locations, and there are sometimes problems and errors in updating all of the web sites involved.

On April 15, 2011 (Friday), the SAM and MAPP web site structure will be improved and simplified. As an unavoidable result, all of the MAPP and SAM links currently on other web sites will need to be updated to the current MAPP and SAM web site locations as listed below:

• The new Policies and Procedures web site location is: www.uh.edu/policyservices
(or the long current version web site address of http://www.uh.edu/af/universityservices/policies/).

• The new Manual of Administrative Policies and Procedures (MAPP) web site location is: www.uh.edu/policyservices/mapp. The former web site www.uh.edu/mapp will be redirected to the new web site on April 15th.

• The new System Administrative Memoranda (SAM) web site location is: www.uh.edu/policyservices/sam. The former web sites www.uh.edu/sam and http://www.uhsa.uh.edu/sam/ will be redirected to the new web site on April 15th.
