UH FRESH FOOD COMPANY SELECTED AS NATIONAL TRAINING SITE
It’s no
secret that the Fresh Food Company
in Moody Towers is strides ahead of
the stereotypical campus dining
facility. Since it’s opened,
university leaders around the region
have used the Fresh Food Company at
University of Houston as a model for
their own dining halls. Now, the
dining facility is getting national
recognition as well.
ARAMARK Higher Education, the food
service provider at the University
of Houston and other universities
across the nation, has selected the
Fresh Food Company in Moody Towers
as its national training site.
As the national training site, the
Fresh Food Company will host and
train staff members for new Fresh
Food Company dining halls and
re-train staff members who need a
refresher course.
“It is a great honor to be chosen as
a training site for Fresh Food
Company,” said Benny Gilbert,
assistant food service director for
residential dining. “Dick Cody, the
channel manager of Fresh Food, chose
our facility because not only do we
have the latest and greatest
equipment, but we have shown a
commitment to the brand standards in
both our menu and execution.”
The training event will take place
April 27-29, 2011.
