UH BOOKSTORE'S BUYBACK GOAL: PAY OUT $450,000 CASH TO UH STUDENTS

The UH Bookstore will conduct their end of semester textbook buyback
April 27 through May 14.

Buyback will be available at the University Center location starting April 27 . For added convenience mobile buyback units will be located at the Wellness Center parking lot, the Moody Towers, the P. G. Hoffman Breezeway, the UC Satellite, and on lot 15D by Robertson Stadium starting on May 4.

Students can sell their textbooks for up to 50% the original purchase price if the book has been selected by a professor to be used next semester. Cover samples of the textbooks that are accepted for buyback are being posted on the glass windows of the store and more are being added as professors submit their Spring book orders. Students will be paid in cash so a photo ID will be required when the books are sold to the Bookstore.
The Bookstore’s goal is to pay our students a total of $450,000 this semester,” Felix Robinson, UH Bookstore manager said.
