Benchmarks

The University of Houston is a member of AASHE- Association of Advancement for Sustainability in Higher Education. The association allows the university to grow and build future benchmarks through information sharing and AASHE-STARS.

AASHE-STARS evaluates and focuses on sustainability in nine major categories: administration, climate change and energy, food and recycling, green building, student involvement, transportation, endowment transparency and investment property share holder engagement.
