Green Spaces

The interweaving of green space into otherwise urban areas is vital to sustainability. As such, the University houses many wonderful green spaces for the campus community ranging from food production gardens to sculpture groves.

Green Spaces managed by the Office of Sustainability:

Campus Community Garden

A full food production garden at the corner of Cullen and Wheeler. Extra credit, voulunteer, and educational opportunities are available.

Shasta's Pocket Prairie

A small coastal tallgrass prairie presernvation installation off Cullen near the Texas Center for Super Conductivity building. Extra credit, voulunteer, and educational opportunities are available.
