Parking and Transportation has added a new route to the Cougar Line shuttle program that will make travel between the north and south sides of campus easier for faculty, staff and students.
The North/South Connector runs between the north side of campus with stops near the Law, Engineering, Architecture and Art buildings and the south side of campus next to parking lots 8A, 9B and 9C.
Student permit holders are urged to take advantage of this new shuttle route to park in lot 8A, a student lot that did not fill up once during the fall 2017 semester.
“We are always accepting feedback about how to improve transportation options for the campus community,” said Bob Browand, director of Parking and Transportation. “By adding this route, we are making it easier for more of the campus to reach the parking lots that have ample parking, even during the busiest times of day.”
The new route operates Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A tool called CougarTrax can be used to view the real time location of the North/South Connector shuttle along with the shuttles on every campus route. This tool can be accessed online or by downloading the DoubleMap app via Google Play or the iTunes App Store. This is a great way to see when the next shuttle will arrive at any given stop.
