Frontier Fiesta is just days away, so festival organizers and vendors alike are busily putting the finishing touches on their plans for the big event.Zipcar, UH’s on-campus car sharing partner, will have a booth each day during the three-day fiesta, and invites students to come visit with some of their representatives and discuss their transportation options and needs. The first ten students to visit the booth each day will receive a free Zipcar membership.
"Our partnership with Zipcar is still rather new, and we know some students may have some questions about their specific service offerings," said Bob Broward, director of Parking and Transportation Services. "This is a great chance for people to come out, have fun and learn a little more about car sharing and what’s available for them right here on campus."
Open to UH students, faculty and staff 18 years of age and older, Zipcar memberships allow users access to any of the four Zipcars that are available on campus, as well as any of the Zipcars available around town. For more information visit http://www.zipcar.com/uh.
