Houston, March 21, 2014 - Students, faculty and staff will be able to learn about all the services the UH bookstore offers and have a chance to win a gift card during the Bookstore Fair on April 2.

The fun and informal event will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble @ University of Houston in the newly renovated University Center. Light refreshments will be served.

Those who attend will walk away with a better understanding of what the bookstore provides. Information tables will have details about such useful services as book loans, the textbook scholarship program and registration integration. Faculty members can learn more about Faculty Enlight and how to submit textbook orders for the upcoming summer and fall semesters. Representatives from the Bookstore Advisory Committee will also be on hand.

In all, four tables will be staffed. Those who come to the fair can collect initials from people working all the tables to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 gift card to the store.

"We welcome the entire UH community to come out to the fair and discover all the wonderful services we offer," said Felix Robinson, the store's general manager. "It will be fun and informational all at the same time."
