Dining's social media accounts get a fresh new start

By The Auxiliary Services Team

Social Media AccountsThe summer of transition is moving right along for the dining program here at the University of Houston.

Along with a new service provider, new concepts, a new vision and a new website, the program has new social media accounts as well.

The accounts have all been rebranded as UHFoodie. So you can now follow and like us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get the latest news, updates and fun tidbits about dining on campus.

Why did we do this?

Well, we wanted to get a fresh start. Also, we think the new name is more encompassing of everything that the dining program offers here at UH. That includes two residential dining commons, numerous retail outlets, convenience stores, a catering program and food trucks. Since we offer more – much more – than a place to sit down and get a bite to eat, we felt that the UHFoodie name better represented that than the older, now defunct, UHDining moniker.

So take a look and see what you think. Shoot us a message at auxiliaryservices@uh.edu or leave a comment below with your opinions and suggestions.

As the summer moves forward and we get closer and closer to the start of the fall semester, you’ll want to keep tabs on us via social media to get the latest news and updates.
