  • NSF ADVANCE | Third Year Site Visit Report (December 4-6, 2017): Appraisals and recommendations for year three of program implementation.

  • Year 3 External Evaluation (June 16, 2017): The Year 3 external evaluation presents both quantitative and qualitative data collected by the internal assessment team and the external evaluator.   • American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS): An international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science for the benefit of all people.

  • American Physical Society (APS): Non-profit membership organization working to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics through its outstanding research journals, scientific meetings, and education, outreach, advocacy, and international activities.

  • Association for Women in Science (AWIS): Largest multi-disciplinary organization for women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) dedicated to achieving equity and full participation of women in all disciplines and across all employment sectors.

  • Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in Information Technology (CMD-IT): Center that is focused on ensuring under-represented groups are fully engaged in computing and information technologies, and to promote innovation that enriches, enhances, and enables these communities, such that more equitable and sustainable contributions are possible by all communities.

  • Postdoctoral Fellows Association at University of Houston: Network of support for postdocs who may be new to the city of Houston and to research positions at UH.

  • Great Minds in STEM: Non-profit organization that focuses on STEM educational awareness programs for students from kindergarten to career.

  • Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities: Represents more than 470 colleges and universities committed to Hispanic higher education success in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America, and Spain.

  • STEM Speak Your Story Project: Comments, which we perceive as offensive (sometimes known as microaggressions), may contribute to diminished diversity in STEM fields, whether they were intended to do so or not. The goal of this project is to begin to quantify their frequency by field, type of institution and location, in the hope that appropriate interventions can be developed, if they are needed, to improve the climate in STEM for all.

  • Project Implicit: Non-profit organization and international collaboration between researchers who are interested in implicit social cognition - thoughts and feelings outside of conscious awareness and control. The goal of the organization is to educate the public about hidden biases and to provide a “virtual laboratory” for collecting data on the Internet.
