Post-baccalaureate applicants are those who have completed the equivalent of a bachelor's degree prior to enrolling in UH. Post-baccalaureate students can take undergraduate courses, pursue a second degree, or meet the prerequisites needed for the graduate majors. Students are required to submit an official transcript from the student's previous institution showing a bachelor's degree.
Applicants who have earned a bachelor's degree or higher and are interested in taking undergraduate courses can be considered for the Post-baccalaureate Program and should complete the Apply Texas Application for Transfer, Transient, and Former Students. Those applying as PB must submit an official transcript from the institution where a bachelor's degree or higher was awarded. Some majors require transcripts from each institution attended. Please contact the department for additional requirements.
Post-baccalaureate applicants to the C.T. Bauer College of Business may only apply for the Certificate of Accountancy Program.
All post-baccalaureate applicants who are seeking a second undergraduate degree and all applicants to the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and the Cullen College of Engineering, the College of Pharmacy, or those seeking teacher certification must submit an official transcript from EACH college or university attended.
Note: Post-baccalaureate applicants to the Cullen College of Engineering must meet the transfer admission requirements for students who have earned 30 or more semester hours of college credit as outlined in the "Transfer Requirements" section.
