Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Association assists PTK students in the transfer process and provides outreach and information to future Cougars involved with Phi Theta Kappa at their community colleges. PTK alumni carry on the tenets of Phi Theta Kappa: scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship.
Tau Sigma National Honor Society recognizes the academic achievements of students transferring to an institution of higher learning from another academic institution. The Honor Society also encourages and promotes student involvement in the institution to which they have transferred.
The University of Houston Ambassadors are a highly respected body of student leaders who work in conjunction with the Office of Admissions and all levels of the UH administration to promote a positive image of our university. This is accomplished through high school recruitment programs, phone-a-thons, campus tours, and Cougar Preview (our Campus Open House). In addition to the recruitment work, we are also a fully involved campus organization participating in activities like Homecoming and Frontier Fiesta.
