UH Ambassadors

University of Houston Ambassadors are premier student leaders that work within the Office of Admissions. Ambassadors are responsible for welcoming prospective students and guests to the University of Houston, as well as providing quality customer service to current students seeking assistance in the Welcome Center. The Ambassador program is a unique opportunity for student leaders to engage in on-campus employment while gaining transferable skills which enhance individual personal and professional goals. 2012-2013 UH Ambassadors

Lydia Cotton

Lydia is a Junior Interdisciplinary Studies and Environmental Science major. Her hometown is Houston, Texas and plans on opening her own school academy following graduation. Lydia enjoys helping others and promoting a University that she believes in. She chose the University of Houston because it is a thriving University that is growing and expanding each year.

Laura Pechukas

Laura is a Senior Management and Human Resources major. Her hometown is Arab, Alabama and plans on working in human resources in healthcare or in government. Laura enjoys meeting new people. She chose the University of Houston because she moved to Houston.

Kiley Donnelly

Kiley is a Junior Interdisciplinary Studies major. Her hometown is West Bloomfield, Michigan and she plans on pursuing her master's degree in supervision and higher education after graduation. She enjoys representing UH in the most positive way. She chose the University of Houston because of the diversity, the great programs and because it feltcomfortable.

Jeremy Rollings

Jeremy is a Senior Biology major. His hometown is Dallas, Texas. Jeremy plans on becoming a pediatrician after graduation. He chose the University of Houston for the diversity and networking opportunities.

Jordan Blaylock

Jordan is a Senior Education major. Her hometown is Crossville, Tennessee and plans on receiving her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Jordan enjoys being a leader on campus. She chose the University of Houston because she loves Texas and Houston.

Jazmine Hawkins

Jazmine is a Sophomore Biology major. Her hometown is Dallas, Texas and plans on going to dental school to pursue her dream of being an orthodontist. Jazmine enjoys being a student leader for prospective students. She chose the University of Houston because it is close to home and has a good science program.

Francesca Sosa

Francesca is a Junior Interior Architecture major. Her hometown is Caracas, Venezuela and plans on graduating with at least one competitive prize. Francesca enjoys helping new and prospective students understand all the campus has to offer. She chose the University of Houston because it was a good institution to learn English at.

Van Ware II

Van is a Sophomore Political Science major. His hometown is Palm Beach, Florida and plans on opening several exclusive boutiques after graduation. Van enjoys talking with new and prospective students. He chose the University of Houston because it was close to home.

Andre Adourian

Andre is a Junior Human Development and Family Studies major. His hometown is Katy, Texas and plans on continuing his studies after graduation. Andre enjoys interacting with people. He chose the University of Houston because it was close to home and his father is a UH alum.

Amethyst Farrar

Amethyst is a Junior Computer and Information Center major. Her hometown is Houston, Texas and plans on working with the federal government upon her graduation. Amethyst enjoys meeting new people and loves the University of Houston. She chose the University of Houston because she preferred to stay close to home.

Jeff Farr

Jeff is a Senior Architecture major. His hometown is Zavalla, Texas and plans on working in commercial real estate after graduation. Jeff enjoys being involved on campus. He chose the University of Houston for the Architecture program as well as the University's location.
